
Ted Day
Ted Day, baritone, is in his final year of postgraduate study at the Royal College of Music, where he holds the Douglas and Hilda Simmonds scholarship. He studies with Tim Evans-Jones and Bryan Evans OBE. His recent performances include Kromow, The Merry Widow; premiering the chamber opera Fanny & Stella’s Last Day Out in the titular role of Fanny; and his debut at the Royal Albert Hall in Song Queen: A Pidgin Opera. Other roles include Harasta in The Cunning Little Vixen, Adriodate in Xerxes and Count Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro. This spring, Ted will play HE in Cupboard Love and appear in a concert of Emily Dickinson’s poetry with Dylan Perez.
