Sophie Patterson
Southern California native mezzo-soprano Sophie Patterson is currently studying in London at the Royal Academy of Music with Raymond Connell. She recently finished her studies in Paris at the Ecole Normale Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot with world renowned baritone, Vladimir Chernov. Sophie graduated with a Bachelors in Music from UCLA’s Herb Alpert School of Music. The roles she sings include Sesto in La Clemenza di Tito, Charlotte in Werther, Die Mutter in Hänsel und Gretel, and Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro. Her non-musical activities include practicing karate, salsa dancing, improvisation, cooking, and playwriting.
