HGO 2026 Summer Concert

Our 2026 Fundraiser for The HGO Alastair Macgeorge Singers Fund.

Four of our most gifted singers of recent years will thrill you with an evening of unforgettable operatic joy, including arias by Mozart, Puccini and Verdi. 

We are thrilled to have Olivia Rose Tringham (Lucretia) as our soprano, as she has just been appointed a Harewood Artist at ENO for 2026–2027. We’re also proud to have Alex Haigh (The Enchanted Pig), who is a regular at the ROH both in the chorus and in small roles; Clover Kayne (Poppea), who is about to start at the National Opera Studio; and Ambrose Connolly (Onegin) also at the National Opera Studio. At the piano is Alex Norton, who was so impressive at last year’s concert.

And you will be helping HGO to give meaningful support to its young artists and supporting the next generation of operatic talent –  recent singers at HGO now perform at ENO, Royal Opera, Opera North and the National Opera Studio and other leading opera companies in the UK and abroad. By helping us advance young singers you will be empowering the new generation of performers.
