Sam Britner
Sam Britner is a 20-year-old Welsh tenor and a second-year physics student at University College London, where he holds the UCL Music Scholarship. He studies privately with Richard Berkeley-Steele and Janet Haney at the Royal Academy of Music. In 2024, Sam made his operatic debut with University College Opera as Judge Danforth in The Crucible. He will return to the company in 2025 to sing Timothy Laughlin in the British premiere of Gregory Spears’ Fellow Travellers. Sam has also performed with Morley Opera School and sang Alfredo in La traviata at Dorset Opera’s 50th Anniversary Gala Concert. Sam looks forward to his first engagement with HGO.
