Lola Ajala discovered her love of the performing arts at the age 6. She enjoyed weekly drama lessons at school, and participated in many school productions. In 2016 she was a member of the supporting chorus in the Southgate Youth Opera’s production of The Magic Flute. In 2018, Lola was a member of the supporting chorus in ‘Big Green Adventure’ , in which she played the part of the driver. In 2019, she took the lead role of Preston Parrot in the musical ‘Splash’, and also won Senior Vocals category in the St Hilda’s Competition for Young Musicians. In 2020, Lola was selected for the Haileybury Young Singer of the Year, and over the past 6 years, Lola has won a number of art festival awards for both singing and acting. Lola is currently a Music Scholar at SPGS and is working towards her grade 8 ABRSM singing exam; she also plays the piano, cello and guitar.
