Lily Bravery is a soprano currently studying her master’s degree at the Royal Academy of Music, under Marcus Van Den Akker and Raymond Connell. She also completed her undergraduate studies at the Academy.
Opera is Lily’s primary passion, and she has performed in a variety of roles, including in La finta giardiniera, L’elisir d’amore, and Les Dialogues des Carmélites. Additionally, Lily is a strong advocate for new music. This year, she had the privilege of premiering two short operas: The Manicurist by Adam Zolty and The District by Sarah Marze. Both of which have been picked to be part of the Tête-à-Tête festival in September 2024. Lily’s talent has been recognised when she was highly commended in the Isabel Jay Memorial Prize and commended in the Blyth Buesst Prize.
