
Kristina Ammattil is a South Indian soprano currently studying at the Guildhall School. Over 2024/25, Kristina was a Young Artist with Waterperry Opera, Soloist for India’s Premier of Haydn’s The Creation with Madras Guild of Performing Arts (October), Chorus in Strauss’ Die Fledermaus with Guildhall Opera School (November), Soloist for Louis Andriessen’s De Stijl with UBU Ensemble under Simon Wills (January), Procris (Elisabeth Jacquet’s Cephale et Procris) and Berenice (Antonio Cesti’s Il Tito) in HP Opera Scenes (March) and Soloist in Handel’s The Messiah with Tonbridge Philharmonic Society (April).
Recent and upcoming engagements include: Young Artist with Pegasus Opera, Soloist in Julian Anderson’s Mitternachtslied with BCMG at the Raffael Court, V&A Museum (July), and Chorus in Handel’s Giustino at the Royal Ballet and Opera Linbury Theatre. Kristina holds a choral scholarship with St. Mary’s Church and directs the local Junior Choir. She is generously supported by the Leverhulme Arts Trust
