Kitty Casey is a soprano, studying with Linda Richardson at The Royal Northern College of Music, with the support of The Eva Turner Scholarship and the 2023/2024 Sybil Tutton Opera Award from Help Musicians UK. Early career highlights include small roles at Glyndebourne in their main festival productions of : La Boheme 2012, Carmen 2015, The Cunning Little Vixen 2016 and Madama Butterfly 2018.
Kitty graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London were she sang with the RHUL choir and was the recipient of the 2022 Dame Felicity Lott Scholarship for performance. She was also a member of Harry Christopher’s Genesis Sixteen in 2021 – 2022. In the midst of lockdown, she sang in the award winning production of L’Enfant et les sortileges, by VOPERA (the virtual opera company) directed by Rachel Hewer and under the musical direction of Lee Reynolds.
In the summer of 2023, Kitty was a Young Artist in Belle Ile, for the Lyrique En Mer Festival, during which she sang as a soloist in the Vivaldi ‘Gloria’ and played the role of second woman in their production of Dido & Aeneas.
