James Holt is a postgraduate from Cheshire and graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester with a Master of Music in performance (Dist.) specialising in Vocal Pedagogy. Alongside tutoring responsibilities James is actively involved in performance. Most recently as a member of the European touring company FKP Scorpio, where he performed in the chorus of Aida. James has also been a member of the chorus in Tristan und Isolde (Grange Park Opera), L’esule di Roma (Opera Rara) and Sir John in Love (British Youth Opera). Solo roles to date include Guglielmo Così fan tutte, Der Perrückenmacher Ariadne auf Naxos, Schaunard La Bohème, & Marchese D’Obigny La Traviata. James is very much looking forward to performing this summer with both HGO and Opera Holland Park.
