
Clover Kayne is a London-born mezzo-soprano. A recent graduate of Royal Academy Opera, where she studied with Kate Paterson and Jonathan Papp, she was supported by the Carr-Gregory Award, the Hannah Horowitz Award, and the Opera Awards Foundation, and received the Regency Award for outstanding achievement. Her roles include Hänsel (Hänsel und Gretel), Ariodante (Ariodante), Florence Pike (Albert Herring), the Fox (The Cunning Little Vixen), and Dritte Dame (Die Zauberflöte). In scenes, she has sung Octavian, Charlotte, and Rinaldo. She has appeared with Nevill Holt Opera, If Opera, and the Grimeborn Festival, and was a 2024 Young Artist at the Georg Solti Accademia. A committed recitalist, Clover has performed at the Austrian Cultural Forum, Italian Cultural Institute, St George’s Bristol, and Iford Manor. She was a finalist in the 2025 ROSL Annual Music Competition and winner of the 2025 North London Festival Singing Prize.
