Christian writes: “My practice is deeply audience-focused. The scenographic environment directly impacts a work’s potential to move, inspire, and effect change. I want to create performance that breaks free from conventional visual principals and outdated rules of engagement, especially within classical music and opera. As a performance designer, whilst practically minded, I adopt an interdisciplinary approach and am particularly drawn to devised theatre and immersive performance.”
