Charlotte Bateman recently graduated from the Alexander Gibson Opera School at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She also holds an MMus (Performance) from RCS, and a BA(Hons) in Music from the University of Bristol. Recent roles include Idamante (Idomeneo), Dorothée (Cendrillon) and Mrs Nolan (The Medium) at RCS, as well as Mrs Grose (The Turn of the Screw), La Ciesca (Gianni Schicchi), Dorabella (Così fan tutte) and Imperial Commissioner (Madama Butterfly), performed on a tour around Scotland with Opera Bohemia. Scenes include Prince Charmant (Cendrillon), Romeo (I Capuleti e i Montecchi), Fox (The Cunning Little Vixen), Baba the Turk (The Rake’s Progress) and Joseph’s Mother (Dead Man Walking).
