Amelia Langley joined the Royal College of Music in 2021. Having completed a Graduate Diploma as the Helen Marjorie Tonks Scholar, she is now currently undertaking a Masters in Vocal Performance as the Robert McFadzean Whyte Award Holder under the tutelage of Dinah Harris, with continued support from the Humphrey Richardson Taylor Charitable Trust and the Josephine Baker Trust. Recent performance highlights include Hebe and Cover Minerva in Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld , and Chorus in Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortilèges and Respighi’s La Bella Dormente Nel Bosco with the RCM Opera Studio, Frasquita in Bizet’s Carmen with Carshalton Opera, Maria in Bernstein’s West Side Story Concert Suite with the Sutton Symphony Orchestra and recent Opera Scenes including Gretel from Hänsel und Gretel (Humperdinck), and Columbine in Fête Galante (Ethel Smyth).
