
Amber Reeves is a graduate of the Royal College of Music and Cambridge University. She continues to study under the guidance of Linda Hutchison and Janet Haney. Recent operatic highlights include Nicklauss in Hoffman, Emmy in Gothic Opera’s critically acclaimed production of Marschner’s Der Vampyr at the Grimeborn Festival, as well as Cherubino (Figaro), Countess Ceprano (Rigoletto), Kate Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly), and The Madrigal Singer (Manon Lescaut) with the Dorset Opera Festival. Her RCM International Opera Studio credits include Juno (Orpheus in the Underworld) and Il Cucculo (Respighi’s La bella dormente nel bosco).
Amber is also an accomplished concert performer, recently returning to the RCM for Pierrot Lunaire and appearing as the alto soloist in Mozart’s Requiem with the All Saints Festival Choir. She also recently performed a semi-staged version of Phaedra, adapted for piano and percussion.
