
Esmée Loughlin-Dickenson is a mezzo-soprano from Cornwall. She graduated from the Royal College of Music in 2024 with a Bachelor’s Degree and is now studying there for her Masters with Sally Burgess. She is the Helen Marjorie Tonks Scholar and is generously supported by the Nicholas Boas Charitable Trust.
At the RCM, Esmée has most recently appeared in the RCM’s opera scenes as Ottavia (L’incoronazione di Poppea), Florence Pike (Albert Herring), Mistress Quickly (Falstaff) and Stewardess (Flight, Jonathan Dove). She has also performed in a Song Plus concert centered on Schumann’s Frauenliebe und Leben. Esmée was the 2024 recipient of the Undergraduate prize for the Brooks Van der Pump competition. She has performed in masterclasses with Edith Wiens, Brindley Sherratt, Ann Murray, Michael Chance, and Bernarda Fink. She recently took part in the Udo Reinemann International Masterclass in Brussels where she worked with Anna Larsson, Markus Hadulla, David Selig and Maarten Koningsberger.
