British soprano Lizzie Holmes is a graduate of the Royal College of Music & Warwick University. This year Lizzie made her Royal Opera House Crush Room recital debut and was headline soloist for Raymond Gubbay’s National Strauss Gala Tour (NYE at Barbican Hall, Bridgewater Hall and Royal Festival Hall). Before the virus, Lizzie was due to sing Gianetta and cover Adina L’Elisir d’Amore (Longborough) and Frasquita/Carmen (Iford Arts). Other highlights include Laurette/Doctor Miracle (Wexford Festival); Dew Fairy and cover Gretel Hänsel und Gretel (Grange Park Opera); Musetta/La bohème (Olivier Awards nominee ‘Best New Opera’, King’s Head at Trafalgar Studios) and Cunegonde/Candide (Minack Theatre). Lizzie is a Concordia Foundation Artist, BYO alumni, Into Opera Associate Artist and Carne Trust scholar.
