George Robarts (baritone) is a postgraduate student of Robert Dean at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. In 2022/23, he appears as Bottom The Fairy Queen (Longborough Festival Opera), cover Escamillo Carmen (Longborough Playground Opera), Chorus Rigoletto (Opera Holland Park), cover Pietro Elena e Gerardo (Random Opera), Malatesta Don Pasquale and Macheath  (GSMD Opera Scenes).

George is the winner of the Audience Prize at the GSMD Chartered Surveyors’ Prize 2022, Second Prize and Best Individual Song Prize at the John Kerr Award for English Song 2022, and Third Prize in the Patricia Routledge National English Song Competition 2021. His song repertoire includes cycles by Butterworth, Vaughan Williams, Schumann, Ravel and Ullmann, and recent recital highlights include an eclectic performance of rediscovered songs and poetry from the German Resistance 1933–45 at Oxford’s Levine Auditorium. George previously studied German and Italian at Oxford University.
