Elizabeth Thomson has recently graduated from the Artist Programme at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under the tutelage of Susan Waters. Elizabeth was a Guildhall Financial Award Holder, a Help Musicians Postgraduate Performance Award Holder and she is supported by The Cross Trust, The Robertson Trust and the Sir James Caird Travelling Scholarship Trust. Whilst at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Elizabeth enjoyed working alongside Tobias Truniger, Roderick Williams, Graham Johnson, Julius Drake, Elizabeth Rowe and Jonathan Papp in a number of exciting concert series and masterclasses. Recent engagements include singing the role of Iphis in Jephtha, Handel, with Dorking Choral Society and participating in GSMD Opera Scenes with director Guido Martin – Brandis and conductor Kelvin Lim. During this summer Elizabeth has performed again with Opera Rara, in La princesse de Trébizonde by
Jacques Offenbach.
