Ukrainian bass-baritone Oleksii Zasiadko toured with the Ellen Kent Opera Company in 2022, performing in Carmen, Tosca, and Madama Butterfly. He completed his Master’s degree at the Odesa National Music Academy and the Advanced Certificate at the Odesa National Music Academy and the Advanced Certificate at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London) in 2024.
Since 2023, he has been a soloist in the Songs for Ukraine project at the Royal Opera House, performing at the Paul Hamlyn Hall, Bradford Cathedral, St. Paul’s Church, Covent Garden, Farm Street Church, Mayfair and at many other prestigious locations across the UK. In January and February 2025, Oleksii performed as Tom in Un Ballo in Maschera with Brent Opera. In March 2025, he sang Betto (Gianni Schichi) in St.Alban’s Chamber Opera. Later that year, he appeared as Papageno in Opera Greenwich’s The Magic Flute and in the world premiere of Kevin Rodgers’ The Murderous Delusions of Gavrilo Kat (Tête à Tête: The Opera Festival).
Oleksii actively combines opera, song, and oratorio, regularly performing in charity concerts to support Ukraine.
