Harriet Cameron graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with First Class Honours and is finishing her Master’s at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. In 2023 Harriet worked with Bampton Opera on their production of At the Venice Fair by Salieri. She won the ‘Most Promising Young Singer’ at the Somerset Song Prize and was an Ashburnham song finalist. In 2024 Harriet sang as soloist for London Fashion week. Harriet
performed as Lucia in Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia for British Youth Opera and in December 2024 sang at the English National Opera for their donor event. She has recently performed with Longborough Opera Festival Chorus.
Harriet is supported by Help Musicians, Kathleen Trust, Guildhall, Josephine Baker Trust and the Yorkshire Ladies Council of Education. She is an actor with the National Youth Theatre. She directed Margarida Gonçalves’ opera The Acts of Brízida Vaz for the 2024 Tête-à-Tête Festival and is excited to assist Jeremy Gray this season.
