Scottish soprano Erin Spence completed her Undergraduate and Masters degrees at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, initially under the tutelage of Soprano Judith Howarth and then with Mezzo-Soprano Linda Ormiston OBE. In 2023 she graduated with Distinction from the David Seligman Opera School at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where she studied with Soprano Suzanne Murphy. During her time at Opera School, Erin performed the roles of: La Contessa Le Nozze Di Figaro, Rosalinde Die Fledermaus, Madame Lidoine Dialogues des Carmélites and Madame Silberklang Der Schauspieldirektor. She also performed multiple scenes in the RWCMD/WNO Opera Galas singing the roles of Alice Ford Falstaff and Cendrillon Cendrillon. In 2022 she won the Janet Price Opera Prize and the Adelina Patti Bel Canto Prize and then in 2023 she represented the RWCMD at the Clonter Opera Prize where she was awarded Runner Up.
