Dan D’Souza is currently studying at the Royal Academy Opera with Raymond Connell and Jonathan Papp. This is his third production for HGO following Pig The Enchanted Pig and Count Robinson The Secret Marriage. Recent roles include Riff West Side Story (Edinburgh International Festival), Conte Perrucchetto La Fedeltà Premiata (Royal Opera House Mumbai), and Papageno Die Zauberflöte (Royal Academy Opera). He has performed as a soloist at the Paris Philharmonie, Sala Santa Cecilia Rome, Cadogan Hall, and the Salzburger Festspiele. He was the winner of the Dame Patricia Routledge National English Song Competition and the Royal College of Music Lieder Competition. 2019 saw the CD release of his performance of High Priest Semele with Sir John Eliot Gardiner, and Demetrius A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Royal Academy Opera. www.dandsouza.com
