
Born in Chichester in 1993, Henry Kimber began his singing career as chorister in Chichester Cathedral Choir. He studied at Christ Church, Oxford whilst singing as an Academical Clerk in the Cathedral Choir. He is currently a Lay Clerk at Southwark Cathedral. Henry studies singing with Alastair Brookshaw and has participated in master classes with David Hurley and Ian Partridge. Henry’s recent solo appearances have included Messiah (Handel), Stabat Mater and Nelson Mass (Haydn), Carmina Burana (Orff), as well as recitals of Elizabethan Consort Songs and a recital for NCO. On the stage, Henry has performed the role of Arnalta in L’incoronazione di Poppea (Monteverdi), Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady (Lerner & Loewe), and as an actor has played Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Shakespeare).
