Nicholas trained at the Royal College of Music International Opera School; he continues to study with Tim Evans-Jones. Recent roles include Malatesta Don Pasquale (Euphonia Opera). Doctor Falke Die Fledermaus (RCMIOS), Sid Albert Herring (RCMIOS), Erasto Giove in Argo (London Handel Festival), L’Horloge comtoise and Le Chat L’Enfant et les Sortileges (RCMIOS), Guglielmo Così fan tutte in workshop with Sir Thomas Allen.

A keen recitalist, Nicholas has performed at the British Embassy in Paris, the Elgar rooms in the Royal Albert Hall, Cadogan Hall, and Leith Hill Place.
