Madeleine Bradbury Rance

Madeleine studied at the Purcell School, Junior Royal Academy of Music, and Clare College. While at Cambridge she performed various roles with the University Opera Society and made several professional recordings and went on two international tours with the choir of Clare College. Madeleine holds a Distinction in Opera from Birkbeck, University of London, and has performed at a variety of different venues in Europe and America, including the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Théatre des Champs-Elysées Paris and Saint Thomas Church New York. After such delightful reviews as ‘Seductively sinister’ (Varsity for Humperdinck’s Witch) and ‘deliciously odious’ (Opera magazine for Aunt Norris), Madeleine excitedly awaits the pronouncement for yet another operatic villain. She is delighted to be returning to Hampstead Garden Opera this season.
