Armenian soprano Hasmik Harutunyan’s recent engagements include Tatyana (Eugene Onegin), Leonora (Fidelio) with English National Opera orchestra at Cadogan Hall, Iphigélnie (Iphigénie en Tauride), Telethusa (Iphis , Opera North), Fiordiligi (Cosi fan tutte, WNO), opera projects at NOS, Female Chorus (The Rape of Lucretia, RCS). She was a Young Artist on the Global Talent Young Artist Programme 2022-2023 at the National Opera Studio (NOS) and a grateful recipient of the Opera Awards Foundation Bursary. Hasmik is passionate about Armenian music of the middle ages and regularly performs recitals. She made her Wigmore Hall debut in 2023 with the National Opera Studio and is a prize winner at the Tatevik Sazandaryan & Pavel Lisitsian Singing Competition in Armenia.
