Finn Lacey is a stage director and musician based in East London. Finn assisted Matthew Eberhardt on the 2022 National Opera Studio residency at Opera North and, since then, has assisted on operas for HGO (The Cunning Little Vixen), St Paul’s Opera (Carmen) and Green Opera (Bluebeard’s Castle) In August 2023, Finn produced and directed Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti at the Arcola Theatre as part of their annual Grimeborn festival. In December, Finn will direct the Christmas production of Ceasar Cui’s Little Red Riding Hood for St Paul’s Opera. Alongside directing, Finn sings professionally as a countertenor having sung with groups such as The English Concert, The Gesualdo Six and The Sixteen.
