German soprano Felicitas Wrede started her studies at the “Hochschule für Musik und Theater” Leipzig with Brigitte Wohlfarth; early in her studies there, she was able to win Second Prize and Audience Prize at the Sollima International Competition in Sicily. Since September 2022 shehas continued her studies at the Royal College of Music with Amanda Roocroft, as an ABRSM scholar. Throughout her studies was able to gain inspiring influence from teachers including by Angela Gheorghiu, Wolfram Rieger, Peter Anton Ling, Ella Marchment, Karoline Gruber, Simon Lepper and Joseph Middleton. She has been able to extend her concert repertoire in venues such as the St. Thomas Church in Leipzig, the Gewandhaus Leipzig, the Handelfestival Göttingen and other places in Germany. In opera she has portrayed the roles of Pamina (The Magic Flute), Clomiri from (Handel’s Imeneo), and the title role of in Orff’s Die Kluge, as well as the Shepherd in Tosca.
