Since completing her studies, Croatian-Canadian soprano Chelsea Kolić has received more than ten international awards. Last season, she was named the Canadian District Winner of the Laffont Competition. She enjoys an international career and has appeared in a wide range of solo roles throughout North America and Europe. In 2021/2022, she sang Frasquita (Carmen), 1st Elf (Rusalka), and 1st Lady (The Magic Flute) with Theater Krefeld and Mönchengladbach. Her choral experience includes engagements with the Salzburg Festival (Austria), Theatre Osnabrück (Germany), Opera McGill (Canada) and Opera Hamilton (Canada). Chelsea is also an avid lieder singer and has recently performed new compositions with the NEO Voice Festival (USA) and the Arcady Emerging Artist Programme (Canada). She currently lives in Krefeld, Germany, and is excited to be making her UK debut with HGO in the title role of Janáček’s The Cunning Little Vixen.
