Annie George graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama’s ‘David Seligman Opera School’ with a MA Advanced Opera Performance with Distinction in 2021. She previously studied at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire where she graduated with a Bachelor of Music (Hons) degree in 2019. She continues her studies privately with Sarah Pring.
Her roles include the titular character in Britten’s cantata Phaedra (Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama), Mrs. Grose in The Turn of the Screw (RWCMD), Madame Flora in The Medium (RWCMD), Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia (RWCMD), Marcellina in Le Nozze di Figaro (RWCMD), Zweite Dame in Die Zauberflote (Royal Birmingham Conservatoire), Mrs Peachum in Britten/Gay’s The Beggar’s Opera (RBC) and Sally in A Hand of Bridge (RBC.)
Her most recent engagements include chorus in Carmen with Opera Holland Park and the role of Third Spirit in Mozart’s The Magic Flute with Dorset Opera.
